Qadisha Valley or the Holy Valley (Ouadi Qadisha)

Qadisha Valley or the Holy Valley. One of the most wonderful sites of the world.

Located in North Lebanon, It is qualified by the UNESCO as a world Heritage.

Qadisha Valley served as refuge for early  christians communities from persecution.

Qadisha Valley is known as Holy Valley because it was the refuge for Christians seeking solitude. You will find many caves in the mountains of this valley, most of these caves became churches.

Qadisha Valley is also known as Kanoubin Valley due to the name of the St-Kanoubin Church
